About

Tom Nash and Graham the dogI’m Tom. I was born in South London in the mid-80s. After leaving school, I studied IT as an apprentice for a web design and new media company before spending five years working in Further Education. In 2007 I left London to study BA (Hons) English and Creative Writing, completing it in 2010 before bossing my MA Professional Writing and walking away with a distinction, from the same institute.

Now living in Surrey, I work in digital marketing for my day job. I’m working on the current draft of my first novel, a collection of stories for children, a non-fiction book and I create comics on a regular basis as Tut and Groan. My interests include social realism, science-fiction, comedy, Hip Hop and digital media and I have experience of writing screenplays for the web, radio sketch comedy and drama, as well as writing for children.

I also very occasionally update a humorously cynical blog on the taxonomy of life in twenty-first century Britain.

I can also be found in the lower tier of the Holmesdale Road end of Selhurst Park during football season. But more often than not, you can find me with my pal Graham the dog.
